Finished using Efrain's "RAutoCIDs.R" to clean the remainder of the datasets (3) and ran the R code "RMatchGenes.R" on all my datasets (20) to find the common genes. Will compare with the gene list using the previous method (Biostatistics NCBI GEO data collection Database creation; Clyde Phelix).
Ran both R-codes and compared my common gene list with the R_matched gene list. My common gene list consisted of 3,665 common genes and the R-code_Matched consisted of 9,881 genes. Out of 3,665 genes in my first common gene list (10 genes) did not match in the R-code "RAutoCIDs.R/RMatchGenes.R." The excel file is color-coded based on the following: yellow - matched genes between the 2 lists; red - unmatched genes; and blue - genes that matched in the R-code but not in the first common gene list.
