Datasets

Dr. Yoo,

For the intermediary steps you requested, I started off with the files I uploaded before, which are also uploaded here. I transposed the data and then created unique files with each of the 6 variables (Luminal A, Luminal B, Basal_like, HER2_enriched, Normal_like, and NRF1). Afterwards I calculated the correlations that are at the end.

Dr. Yoo,

The second step I took was that, I took the Transposed Dataset and added the individual correlation of the variables.

Afterwards, I added an extra column and took the absolute value of the correlations.

Finally, I ordered the entire dataset by the absolute value of the correlations.

Dr. Yoo,

The finals steps I took was the following:

As seen in the datasets added above, I deleted all of the variables that expressed DIV/0# as these were all the same in the original dataset.

Afterwards, I grabbed the top 215 variables from each dataset and added them all in one file as seen in the Top correlations file.

Afterwards, I reordered the dataset by the absolute value of the correlations and then removed the two correlation columns.

Afterwards, I deleted all of the repeated rows by going to Data -> Remove Duplicates and ended with 921 variables.

Since I ordered the variables by the strength of their correlation, I deleted the last 21 and left with 900 variables.

And that's how I ended with the Reduced Dataset file seen below.

I already modified the data in the banjo file and it's currently running. Nevertheless, I attached the results from the previous analysis here and have sent you through email the 1, 2, and 4-hour analysis.

Once I get these results, I will send them to you promptly.

Please delete these results.

I mean, please delete the data with 464 cases and analyses results related to that. I see still 464 cases dataset attached in your Thu Feb 19, 2015 2:33 pm posting here.

Again, same problem here. In your post on Mon Feb 23, 2015 2:52 pm, same entries except the last column. Please update the datasets.

Dr. Yoo,

I just deleted the first set. For the second set, these are parts of the intermediary steps, which are complemented by the two following posts that I made. They are all a set of steps I took in order to achieve the Reduced Dataset.csv file I attached later on.

As we discussed earlier, if you do not want all of the intermediary steps, I can delete these files, but if do want all of the steps I took, these are necessary.

Dr. Yoo,

Please find attached the 4-Hour Banjo Analysis. I am currently running the 6-Hour Banjo Analysis.

Professor,

Please find attached the Master Data File ordered by the strength of the correlation with NRF1.

How I got this file is by doing the following:

Downloading the "Transposed Data by NRF1.csv" file

    Deleted the #DIV/0! columns

Ordered the list by the absolute value of the correlations

    Re-added the clinical variables

    Transposed the dataset
