Thanks for posting this paper. Today I understood that bene employs the algorithm specified in this paper - which is why once a shortlist of 30 genes, and the input dataset have been agreed upon by a group of researchers, bene should be the software of choice!

Is my understanding accurate? Any comments?

As can be seen, this week I have been spending some time thinking more about the connect between the tools and the theory. Thanks!
